If you're in the mood for a little getaway to relax and enjoy some real fall colors, the famous California region of Eastern Sierra near town Bishop might be one of your options. During the months of October-November aspen trees change their leaves to yellow. Covering hills and valleys with the large patches of yellow foliage. The amount of aspen trees in the Bishop area is quite impressive. To the point where the number of yellow leaves can leave you a bit overwhelmed. It is a great opportunity to witness an amazing spectacle of nature, take lots of amazing photos with your family or just enjoy walking along the creek to catch the last glimpse of fall before these mountains get covered with piles of snow a few weeks later.
"395 corridor" is one of my favorite places to spend time in California. No matter the season, there is always plenty to see and experience. This massive area offers hiking, fishing, camping, rock climbing, and other outdoor activities as well as you can enjoy visiting historic towns along the highway, where you can grab a bite to eat at local restaurants, visit some art galleries featuring some fine art nature and landscape photography. As well as stock up on supplies and groceries before you embark on your next adventure to the desert, mountains, Mammoth Lakes, or Bristlecone pine forest!
