The story goes, in no so ancient time, as avalanches were making their way down the mountain, some younger trees were in the way. Their persistence to be growing upwards was challenged by the weight of the ice pushing against them. Therefore, they look so strangely amazing now. And provide yet another destination to visit for famous landscape photographers from all over the world. Luckily, this is happens to be only one of the hundreds of unique locations you can visit and photograph in the state of Colorado. It's one of my most favorite states and I haven't even explored 1% of it (yet) to be honest. Other great destinations to visit in Colorado are: Great Sand Dunes (the tallest dunes in the USA), Garden of Gods park, Mesa Verde, cities of Aspen and Vail, and many more.

Mountain ranges in Colorado are also one of the tallest in the USA, providing for most amazing tree photography and especially in fall times, when millions of aspen trees change color of leaves, and you can witness all hillsides turn real bright yellow.

Twisted Times - was shot during the year 2020. When everyone was confused about everything. I was grateful to be able to be in the area during that time and was able to come photograph this strange nature's creation.
